Thursday 5.30pm

Location: Heckfield Memorial Hall, Church Ln, Heckfield, Hook RG27 0LG

Claire aims to reignite any past ballet training through some barre work, adage and centre work including pirouettes and small jumps. The focus will be on co-ordination and improving posture through use of the core and developing awareness of the body in space. The class will use ballet steps and vocabulary to encourage technique, musicality and artistry. The option to take IDTA adult ballet exams will be available to those that wish to challenge themselves.

What do wear

Traditionally in ballet we wear a leotard and tights, however, I know that some may not feel comfortable in this, so leggings and a fitted top is absolutely fine too. You may want to wear layers in the colder months, and also a feel free to wear a skirt or shorts over leotards. Ballet shoes are best as they allow you to slide through the floor, but otherwise I would suggest bare feet as socks may cause you to slip.

This class is available as a PAYG, or part of a grounded package to reduce the price per class. Please go to the bookings page to sign up, there is video guidance on my instagram, but do email if you need assistance.
