Location: Farley Hall Equestrian Centre, Church Rd, Swallowfield, Reading RG7 1TJ

The Teen Intensive day offer young dancers age 10   to 16 years (school year 6-11)    to experience high-quality training in Dance, Pilates, Aerial Hoop and sling. As well as giving them an opportunity to develop performance and creative skills alongside like minded others. It is designed as an opportunity to explore not only dance, but how to use skills within Pilates to nurture the wellbeing of the dancer. They will also have an opportunity to use their dance skills to experience Aerial work. This is a great opportunity to expand their dance experience but also maintain their training in the school holidays. 

Requirements: Students should have been attending weekly dance classes for at least one year. You do not need to be dancing on pointe to attend the course or have previous aerial experience.

A rough day plan includes;

10.00-10.30 Registration & warm up

10.30-12.00 Aerial Hoop

12.00-12.45 Lunch

12.45-2.00    Dance workshop (keep your eyes peeled for the guest teacher)

2.00-3.00   Pilates and stretch with aerial sling

 

£60 per student
